Maybe your work isn’t very satisfying or maybe you feel lime your were destined for more. Maybe you are single and would like to be in a relationship that feels fulfilling and nourishing and have no idea how to create that. These are all such important things that are far more easily attainable when we get the right support in place.

It’s our traumas and our unconscious beliefs that are in the way of us having what we really want in life and counselling and therapy help us to heal our traumas, change our mindset and create the life we want.

I work as much with the body as I do the mind. The mind thinks and believes things and the body stores it all away; holding all unprocessed experiences leaving us feeling less than optimal! So working with both the mind and the body makes sure the big shifts can happen and that the nervous system can update.

Polarity

I have a particular interest in polarity; the duality of life, expressed in us all as the Divine feminine and the Divine masculine and how these two forces within all of us are connected by the lesser known and often misunderstood Divine neutral. These innate forces are connected to the five elements of ether, air, fire, water and earth and together this dynamic fusion creates our humanity. I can show you how to work with these elements to bring more space, balance, dynamism, flow and grounding to your life and especially to your relationship.

It all starts with self-love

While we may all be familiar with this as a concept, many don’t actually know how to do it in practice. Studies have shown how cultivating self-love and self-compassion is absolutely key in resolving trauma and bringing peace and resolution that if self-love is not practiced by the client, the therapeutic process takes much longer and shifts are even prevented from happening.

Loving ourselves is easy when we are in a “good place” but can feel impossible when we are struggling with old feelings and patterns of behaviour and yet this is right at the point we need it most and feelings cant be processed without love. I show how you can do this and you will see immediately the positive effects of it on your body and in your life.

By attending to the psyche this way, the body and mind mends itself. We human beings are really quite remarkable and studies and practice have shown over and over again how the body heals itself when it is provided with the right support that is finely attuned to the individual. Everything can be healed; the rejection, the pain, the overwhelm, the loss, the fear… all can be brought into the arms of compassion and all can be brought into wholeness and belonging.

In the sessions

We tend to start seated. We may be working through something over several sessions or there might be something that is strongly calling you to bring it. We might set up some “constellations” of your family or of your inner world and bring clarity by disentangling from what keeps you back and reconnecting with what helps you to move forward. I can show you how to tackle your Super-ego (involved in the inner-critic, which many people find a big problem). The session may involve meeting a new aspect of yourself that you have not met before enabling you to start a whole new exciting connection with yourself that you never thought possible. However we work, it is a journey towards you yourself, and I follow you.

I will help you find the unconscious core beliefs that keep your conscious world stuck and help you to create beliefs that support you.

Wonderful and enlivened

Therapy shouldn’t be a drag, and while processing old feelings is always physically uncomfortable, I can show you how to work with them in a very manageable way that feels safe and gentle so they can actually complete and leave you feeling freer and even liberated.  The journey is often tender, joyous, humbling and incredibly beautiful. Our understanding of the brain and nervous system has grown exponentially in the last thirty years and therapy these days is as much about an opportunity to feel wonderful and enlivened.
